Did our first trip out with Katie-cat in the motorhome. After several minutes (seemed like hours) of howling, she settled down to life on the road.

Will be trying a few days away with her next week in Haven in Clacton only 20.00 quid for 4 days with EHU. Cant be bad!

Anyone been there - reviews good or bad?

ps. Katie getting her food supplies ready - as she brought in a mouse tonight ...squeek!

Our daughter went on a cheapy with Haven a couple of years back, were packed in like sardines, so much so, that when they wanted to leave they couldn't get out.

We used to take our cat with us everywhere when we lived in Australia, even camping, we used to travel thousands of miles with her in our Landrover.

Enjoy your future trips with Katie.

We did 1 night at Haven Primrose valley . Not a good reveiw im afraid.
£33 for the 5 of us . So not so cheap.
They didn't see our dogs or we would have been charged £3 each for, for the night , for them too.
We wouldn't go again . The kids had a good swim , we off loaded the waste, gave the batteries a good charge. All had a couple of long hot showers, and gave the kids a bit of life experience:winky:
The place was full to the brim of chavs. 3 generations of them f'ing and jeffing and generally being obnoxious.
We saw 4 people get arrested , at separate times , during the evenings "entertainment" one of them only about 12 years old too. :whatthe:
I think the thing to do there , at Primrose , is go out at 5pm , get a table and half a dozen chairs . Fill up on large jugs of cider and lager, mixed with smuggled in vodka.
While your kids runaround whacking each other and anyone else in range , with glow in the dark light sabers.
We had to avoid several piles of sick on the way back to the MH at 11pm, so not that late.

The place was clean though.( sick was all gone the following morning) staff were polite , rubbish was picked up and not left laying around. Though the residents didn't seem to know what bins were for !
Plus point that was where we were parked , it was very quiet well away from the statics. Infact a good 10/15 mins walk away. At the very edge of the site:thumb:
This was in a school holiday though. Its probably a totally different place when its not.
Even If you were just to use it as a base , you've got a bargain.
I certainly wouldn't go back in a school holiday again.
