I'm selling my mother's left-hand drive 1991 Karmann MB100D coachbuilt motorhome. The vehicle has a new MOT and is in excellent condition mechanically. The vehicle has a Mercedes 2.4L 4 cylinder normally-aspirated diesel engine (no turbo or ECU), a 5 speed manual gearbox, power steering, power-assisted brakes, and has done 105,034 kms (65,646 miles). There is no rust on the chassis, and the bodywork is in reasonable condition with the exceptions noted below. The cab is perfectly watertight and all the internal fittings are in good order. Although it must be admitted the upholstery has some wear, this is not what you'd call excessive in a motorhome of this age. The woodwork is generally unmarked and looks very smart. There is a 60L freshwater tank, a 55L grey water tank, Truma gas-heated hot water supply, Trumatic gas room heater, Thetford cassette WC, wash basin and shower, 2 burner gas cooker, Electrolux 3-way fridge, five double-glazed windows, two openable roof vents, 12v lighting, mains hookup, new Zig unit (but with original panel), two bench seats either side of a largish collapsible table, and a 74 Ah leisure battery as well as the engine battery. The floor of the living area is covered with waterproof 'Flotex' carpet tiles which are still as new. There is a Blaupunkt stereo radio cassette with two Phillips 5" 25 watt 2-way speakers fitted in the living quarters, two new 'BP Gas Light' lightweight 10kg gas bottles fitted with 27mm clip-on valves (one of which is full), a rear-mounted double bike rack, roof bars, and a rear ladder. It has had all the electrical sockets converted to UK 3-pin fittings, and an extra double socket fitted in the kitchen area.
