When at SMC Newark we spotted that the new Frankia's where using a standard Karcher hose reel in their service locker for the fresh water inlet. It is a very neat hose reel, slightly smaller pipe but well constructed, 10m on the reel (extra 2m on the back) it comes with a detachable mount so can be fixed onto a side wall but removed if needed.
I was surprised at this, as usually branded hoses are not food safe but this was marked phthalate-free (seems it is nasty stuff
that makes PVC supple), SMC explained that was how the vans arrived.
Does anybody else use this type of hose or know anything about it, as up till now we have used a roll of specifically food grade hose?
