So at home I have been using an A1 with my own enclosure, and that's done fine generally, as I had a Prusa MK4s with MMU at work. But I had been mulling an upgrade for sometime, moreso as I do more with ASA and ABS etc.
Im pretty amazed at the rate Bambu can churn these printer out. Bambu has done enough for me to move away from Prusa. Which is is a shame as I also admired the open nature of the Prusa's. But it's clear they cant compete with the bambus on a hobbiest consumer level.
So far the X2D has been fine. Two extruders are nice. Although it's clear the next upgrade path will improve the 2nd extruder. I am not using special support material. Is anyone else using it? I'm just using chemicaly opposing materials.. Petg support for Pla etc. The price of support material is a bit extortionate. I'm also a cheapskate on filament. I get the cheapest I can, generally on Amazon. Then I let it sit in my basket untill amazon tell me it's on discount.
I did want the h2d. But couldnt justify the price tag for the sake of the laser. A standalone unit is only £200 for a 10w laser.
