We are Dave and Wendy Southwell, and we have just taken the plunge!

We have been on the road in Belgium and France for the last three weeks, our plan is to stay in Spain for the Winter, then to keep touring until we have had enough, or kill each other.

We have a Bailey Autograph 745.

Any tips or advise would be gratefully received.

We have set up a little blog for anyone who would like to follow our Journey.

Welcome! Enjoy, enjoy and then enjoy.
Some areas will be yuck but others will more than make up for the bad ones.

We also tour long term and for wifi we have a mifi in which we insert a local data-only simcard. In italy we bought a TIM card, in Spain a Vodafone. Not best if you download loads of stuff/facetime/skype but more than adequate for email catchups, banking and general keep-in-touch functions.

Perhaps we will see you on the road. (We will be in Spain for the winter.)

Happy travels!

We are fulltimers too and are just about to start our 2nd big tour of Europe and maybe a little further. I was rubbish and keeping our blog so will be just keeping a thread on here.

Perhaps we will bump into you somewhere. Happy travels and may all your roads be smooth, your Aires peaceful and your wheels stay round!

Good to read your blog. Its interesting to read about someone with the time to spend to really see whats on your route. We usually reckon on getting to Metz in a day rather than a fortnight!.

Looks like a good time of year for Aigues Mort, we stopped there in the summer but could not stay on the aire as it was baking hot with no shade anywhere. Found another nearby with trees, and as a bit of a plus free ehu on each pitch.
