……whilst walking the dogs before 9 o’clock this morning in Ciren. Normally in Eastern Europe and Asia but occasional visitor to these shores, probably due to higher temps……..(not me, the starling!)

Rare rosy starlings spotted in UK gardens ‘possibly due to warmer temperatures’
One theory is that warmer springs allow the birds’ preferred food source, insects, to travel further west
