Just seen my first ever Rosy Starling……

……whilst walking the dogs before 9 o’clock this morning in Ciren. Normally in Eastern Europe and Asia but occasional visitor to these shores, probably due to higher temps……..(not me, the starling!)

The rosy starling is still around - spotted him/her on a tv aerial across the road - and seems to be ensconced with one of the local starling flocks, so may become a ’regular’….. (y)

Great spot I’ve never seen one 🤔still got a few years in me to spot one though🤞😂

Impressive spot and identification! Even more impressed you got a photo. We’ve had a pine marten visit our garden a few times recently but still not had camera handy when I’ve seen it.
 
If my surname was Starling I would have called my daughter Rosie. What a nice but useless piece of information that is 😎

Well if it helps my granddaughter is called Rosie which she dislikes and is known by the moniker Roz. Unless she's changed it again!
