We liberated Betsy the third from SMC theday of Boris’ lockdown.

She’s currently on the drive and wont be going anywhere for a few months, although she may be used as a hospital if we get Covid-19

She‘s A 2016 I 7400 plus.

So what do we need to know ?

Oh and where is toilet flush water tank refill - the flush has stopped working and I wonder if its empty...

Unlikely a Frankia will have a toilet with its own tank, they normally use the supply from main tank via a solenoid controlled switch on the flush operation.

OK - having been Motorhoming at Home this week ;) It works try it. Just sit in the MH with a cuppa and the dogs and pretend you are in the Loire Valley (A glass of Touraine helps but at 10 am its not the done thing)

(However tempting)

But i do have some some questions. The new MH has levellers - if the van is to be parked for 1 (week/month/year) or so, is it OK to park Betsy on the lifters? Are there risks and benefits ?

Is there an easy satellite TV introduction guide anywhere? Betsy 2nd didn’t even have TV. Betsy 3rd has a full auto seeking dish - and when i tuned the tele it told me I had 1200+ channels to watch (and still nothing on  ). But there’s 13 more satellites to look at.....

PS The Flush probelm was « fixed » when i turned the water pump back on. Oops..... :sneaky:

PPS The dogs were not as easily convinced. They expected several hours kip and to wake up in new location with new smells and adventures. Instead they got the front drive again...

I have E&P leveling and i leave mine on the legs all the time with the weight just off the tyres

With your sat dish you need to make sure you are looking for astra 28 satellite

Thanks. we have the same system. Ours isn’t completely off the ground - just where the auto-levelling system put us! Should I lift it higher?

Yes i go to manual and lift it a bit more to take the weight off the tyres this adds extra life to your tyres and stops flat spots etc

Great Thanks. Mrs Codger wont like it. She has short legs and the step up is big enough as it is!

Neighbours wont be impressed as the A class is taller than the Bessacar we had previously and we now look over the fence....
