We've had 6 weeks in France and just home. We started in Metz then did Burgundy, Auvergne, Limousin, dipped into Dordogne, Futuroscope courtesy of Tesco points, Ile d'Oleron, Poitou Charente, Loire and then returned to Burgundy to travel back up that side to try and find the sun again. Ended up in Amiens then Ypres to see family war graves. We had a really great time but we are also very glad to be back home and enjoying home comforts now that the weather is cooling down. How fortunate we are that we can do both!
