We've just received a quote to renew our fully comp ins of £950 pa.
Expensive? well no.
Here's bit of the background we insure all of our 4 vehicles on a 'family' policy and to date we've claimed for a rear screen for the Lexus which had to be supplied by Toyota Japan (cost unknown). In addition our 99 6 berth Fiat based Hymer Camp was written off due to a massive blowout on the M4 and which had ripped the waste tank and part of the floor out. It was decided it was to expensive to repair but still cost the insurer many thousands of pounds in payment to us. So I'm thinking its a fair deal what do you lot think?

That's my thinking too pappajohn Just wanted some assurances I'm right

I am quite happy with mine at £268.50 fully comp which includes uk breakdown cover & legal expenses.

£253 fully comp and includes 3 months European cover and legal expenses.

mine is about £258. with three months euro. in as well.

If you have all 4 vehicles for that then I think it is a good deal. I insured our cars in 2012 for under £1,000 (just); 2008 Suzuki Vitara, 2010 Porsche 911, 2010 Fiesta, 2012 Merc C350. 21 year old on Merc and Fiesta only, wife on all. Used Direct Line multi car discount and I still use them, best deal for us. Don't know if they insure Motorhomes but I will be investigating soon.

I think it's very reasonable considering how much they paid out to me last year

I have four vehicles on separate policies and am paying more than that with no claims for several years so sounds pretty good to me.

I am paying ( or rather my firm is paying) more than that for one vehicle.
