£40 for a 2.4Watt solar panel :Eeek:.... HOW MUCH!!!!!

Also plugging into your ciggy lighter won't help as it is generally disconnected when the ignition is off...

I bought a cheap 10 Watt panel for around £20.. Not on sale anymore but this is very similar.

I have it on my dashboard connected to my van battery when I am parked up.

I have never had a vehicle where it was live with the ignition off. My current 03 Ducato is exactly the same... :(

I wasn't having a dig at you, just letting people know that it is neither good value and probably won't work as described in the advert.

Both of Mine are/was different, just saying.
if the solar chargers were expensive, so be it, I'm not into "big boys toys" I rarely travel "off site" so have no need of them, I posted the information, just in case anyone was interested.

However" Just in case anyone had looked at that link, there are all sorts of things that COULD be interesting to anyone doing a conversion, looking for trim bits, insulation(some of that is only millimetres thick) heaters, lights.

The information was offered in good faith! Just saying!

wish I hadn't, our Hymer Mercedes has 2 cigar type sockets in the front, one goes off with ignition other stays live, I presumed it must be fed from the leisure batteries, only took three jump starts to confirm for sure o_Oo_O
