Hi there! My hub and I are total newbies to motor homing, with our newly bought Eldiss Prestige 196. We went on our very first outing a couple of weekends ago and stayed on a site close to our daughter's house in Preston so we could meet up and have a meal outside a local pub - it was fab (almost normal!!!) and taught us loads. We watched all the friendly pro's set up and set off, we made copious notes of their great ideas, gadgets, stole all their tips and tricks and have never been off Amazon since!! Thanks for letting us join and we hope to learn from you all! Deb

Don't buy too much stuff that you think you really need , even if it looks cool. use as much from home as possible before spending I find the cash is better in the fuel tank than the locker enjoy your adventures

As ‘Nanniemate’ said don’t just go out and buy stuff use what you have at home first, you will find things that you are sure you need but will end up being binned as you haven’t used them!
Go through your lockers and drawers regularly and bin out stuff that hasn’t seen the light of day for a while Otherwise you may find you are carrying far too much stuff!
