Just Bought Autotrail Tracker FB (1 Viewer)

Hi all ,, been away for a while (not what your thinking , bought caravan for 18mths) , realised our mistake so just bought 2012 Auto Trail Tracker FB 150hb comfort-matic.

Picked it up a couple of months back and took it on a 5 week shake down and everything works fine , better lay out than last motorhome , reason we traded back to caravan.

The only issue I have is the same as everyone else , the media centre being best part of useless , radio losses station every couple of minute , GPS poor , touch controls poor and also the drop down tv is just poor quality

My question is has anyone replaced the media head with a better head which simply replaces the original and also the same with the drop down tv with better quality. Any advice please.

These are the people who service / repair the systems fitted in Autotrails.
David Evans has replaced many of the original systems with Kenwood and Pioneer systems. It might be worth a call and ask what he's recommending. If on Facebook look for the Autotrail owners group as i know several on there have had theirs changed.

Asked the question on Facebook and it looks like Kenwood DDX-4016DAB has been used by a few to replace the Auto-trail head unit with success and it seems it is straight swap , the only loss is the sat-nav which is no big issue

Looks a good one..
At least something with a known brand name should give a little more faith..
