Hi all, posting this here as well as on new arrivals for all you converters !
Have been away from the forum for a couple of years , had a vw T6 after having two low profile motorhomes. Loved the VW , bit of fun and the VW T 6 owners forum are a good , helpful bunch just like you👍👍! Now have got an unusual pvc Boxer conversion after we realised we needed an integral loo more (👴🏻)
, its a kind of hybrid between full fat dealer version and a campervan . Loo, ( no basin or shower), webasto heater, calor gas hob , no oven and little sink , nice long single beds ( can be doubled) and as it was originally built for a disabled couple theres an extra wide gangway and door on loo.
This fabulous forum has already been massively helpful as the vehicle has its original van seats ( ouch) which I am changing and you’ve all helped with advice on seat lowering, new seats and ‘pretensioners’ (who knew that was a thing) .
Glad to be back, the site looks different ( very smart) since I was last here, well done and thanks!

We would put a shower at the top of our list, that's the only thing that puts us off VW campers, size we can live with. 🙂
But we like panel van conversions 😉 we are on our second one. 👍 😁 Bob.

Hi Bob,
You know those people who go and buy three vans before they know what they need, well thats us!🤦🏼‍♂️When we returned our first two neither the showers or ovens had been used, crazy right? We adored the vw but obviously a bit cramped following arrival of big dog..... on reflection , pvc was always the way to go for our kind of usage, which is sort of between silver surfers and actual surfers...
Bet its not our last van either.....😬

Well you picked the right van width wise!

As you move forward things get a bit more debatable!!

Nice van

Cheers James
