Just an "Idea"...

If you own a few vehicles, and like me panicked this morning because I thought an MOT was out of date,,,,,, looks all over and found it was not due till next year..

So what I have done is printed when the MOT/Insurance & Road Tax is due,,,, will cut them out and stick them in each vehicle...

All except my old Buick.... cos that does not have any only classic car Insurance..

Perhaps Jim could conjure up a "Funster" Sticker with a clear backed sleeve so they can be slid in like a reverse Tax Disc.. and at a glance you can see what is due..

Well I thought it was a good idea for a numpty like me...

Ah!!!!! But we drive them all regularly so if it`s stuck in front of you.. should be no excuse..

If the garage where you take your vehicles is worth there salt and value your custom they should either send out a reminder or give you a phone call 28 days before it is due. We always did to our customers when we ran our business

I mark ours on the calender a month before they are due, that way gives us plenty of time to get them booked in etc, and I look at calender everyday when I cross the day off so should not forget.

We have a big wall planner in our office with all important dates on and reminders on the right

Mo, if you use Google Chrome it has a calendar feature which will allows reminders. It's a lot cheaper than a wall chart.

I buy a new car or motorhome before the MOT is due.

I find it much easier than fiddling round with reminders

I do keep my reminders on a calendar but with the tax disc gone there's no instant reminder on the screen which I found useful. One of your better ideas mo!

Don't panic about writing those irrelevant items down. The police are quite happy to inform you when they are over due

I'm now using a free app - mot reminder- I think it was called, recommended by Techno. This gives reminder before event.

I also use Google calender and send myself a reminder a week or do before its due. That's reminded me I must check I've done it now! !!
