Junction 7 Motorhomes Pershore- anyone used them?

It's a small place 5 - 10 mhs on the forecourt with what look to be high window prices. They may have other premises that I don't know about.

I think it used to be a sports car dealers (TVR?) in the past. The sale they are having doesn't seem to be much cop though, there isn't a penny off any of the 9 vehicles they have on the forecourt!

Who are they?

There is no company registered at that address. Their website omits to state the name of the person or other legal entity trading as either Junction 7 Motorhomes or Drakes Broughton Garage.

I may be fussy, but before I spend a lot of money on a MH I would like to know who the seller is and be able to check their business track record and reputation.

My thoughts exactly.

If you look at the Ebay listing (user j7motorhomes) you get a name and address and VAT number 934 7715 01.

If you search the name then you do get a hit for a person who was a director of a Company at that address "The Sports Car Centre Limited".

Seems the owner is 74 years old and his wife (assume same surname and similar age) was also a director. I'm not sure how acurate this infomation is as it is free.

I can't find anything on the Companies house check but I am no expert in this area.

The VAT number comes back as valid and registered to that address and his name.

The website offers finance so if I am not 100% sure (if I'm only 80% then I'd walk away) I could look at putting the majority of it on finance and take the hit for 6 months, then pay it off so I don't get clobbered for interest. If anything crops up, the finance company would be liable as well.

Not sure if it is the same set up, but that was a main TVR dealership, had quite a reputation, he often had factory specials. Back then it was a man called Millington, or something similar. He also did car breaking, high end stuff, bought spares from there, but all of this is 20 years+ ago. Not been passed in years.

Yes, surname matches what I found. "had quite a reputation", in what way?

Sorry, just back then, people would travel from all over for TVRs from him, he was held in high regard. That was a long time ago, if it is the same man, he must be retired.

Hi. Good to hear he had a good reputation.

This is the same person, the VAT registration and Ebay account are registered to a Charles Millington. Details say he's 74.

I have looked around some of the MH and the ones i looked at hadn't been cleaned properly or in tip top condition, but they may have some better vans in now.
The lady i spoke to wasn't very professional either.

I have looked at a few campervans there in the past. It was an elderly couple running it -friendly but not pushy. I thought that the vans were rather overpriced -this was about 6 yrs ago. Not been there recently.

I think that the Police, GCHQ or the NCA should snap these investigative funsters up! :D2
Good work guys.
Better still recruit them for the so called Major Incident in the channel. Or better still send them to look for drones around Gatwick.
