Dear All,

I've just had the following message from Eddie's wife Smitta about his funeral.

Dear all,
Thank you all for your kind messages and support at this very sad time.
Eddie's funeral is going to take place on Monday 23rd May at 12.00noon at:
St Matthew's Church
37 Norwood High St
West Norwood
London SE27 9JU
Please arrive by 11.40am.
West Norwood train station is a few minutes walk from the church.
For full details on how to get there please click on the link below:
http://www.stmatthews-westnorwood.org.uk/findus.html
After the church service there will be short walk to the crematorium.
We would then like everyone to join us for a late lunch at our home after the service .
Please don't worry about bringing flowers. For those who would like to donate, a just giving page has been set up to raise money for Melanoma UK:

Warm regards
Smitta, Amie, and Ryan

Just a thought--- should maybe the family's address be deleted and members here could contact the OP if they need to know it?
Thanks for donation details.

Might be a good idea. I can't edit post now - can Mr Admin do it, and replace the address with 'contact OP for details'.

Thanks, Hugh

I know we all sometimes give to different charities and the fat cats might benefit. I never knew how young Eddie was until I read it on the just giving page. It doesn't matter if you only have a spare £...Please donate what you can as I'm sure all donations are gratefully received and add up. Be thankful for today :)

Over £1000 already, well done all the funsters.
I just did a search for a good route to Trier, and of course, whose post was there, The Judge. His legacy will remain on these pages for a long time.
