Been some discussion recently regarding ADAC still accepting new members from the UK..
Here is my recent email to them and their reply today...

    Hi...
Can you clarify if ADAC are accepting new customers from the UK for European breakdown cover..
Several members joined ADAC in early 2013 and have renewed but others are saying they have been unable to join and that ADAC have stopped accepting new Members ??

    Dear Mr. Tonks,

ADAC accepts english members. This did not change.

    Mit freundlichem Gruß

Let's not knock the OP, I suppose we will find out very soon as some one joins or tries to join ADAC. :thumb:

This message from ADAC implies there has been some changes but, UK residents should not have been affected.

The earlier posts on this matter stated that some people had been unable to join ADAC but some also said they had joined so there appears to be a difference in interpretation of the new rules by ADAC employees.

Can I ask with regards to ADAC's coverage in Morocco, what the 'type' of cover is as I've never actually seen an answer on this.

Is it a 'recovery service' in as far as you call ADAC from Morocco and they arrange your recovery, is it a 'sort it out yourself and claim it back' kind of affair?

I have e-mailed the above question and only received a copy of their term and conditions in English. In case this of interest to anyone, I have uploaded it to Scribd:
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/194199434/ADAC-English-Terms-and-Conditions

We broke down in Morocco and found it quite easy to get sorted, but I guess your paying for piece of mind more than anything as with most insurances.
