The older discussions in the Pets group seem to have disappeared

Have you clicked on Group Discussions rather than Latest Discussions? I think there's a limit to how many are displayed in the latter category.

(I can't get Group Discussions to display properly though)

I'll look at how they are displaying, but remember the groups discussions are not forums. They are for chatting, its not designed to have hundreds of saved chats. If you want to keep stuff for posterity and its a busy group then post them in the groups attached forum which is empty at the moment. The Social Groups Broken Link Removed When its posted in you see the latest thread in your group on the left. If any busy group owners want a forum attached, just shout.

If I make my browser window very small then I can reproduce that.

The discussions display fine (in a central panel) but the listing won't. Tried the Music Festival group and that's the same.
