Driving through France in January

Hi, I must be mad too as I am driving from Calais, Reims, Dijon, Lyon, Marseille, Cannes, Monaco then up to Genoa and ferry over to Sardinia

Well, KSEBruce is not the only one who is mad or brave, as more than half of our serviced pitches are already booked over the Christmas/New Year period, and there are outstanding enquiries! Whereas last year we closed off some areas, we may not be able to do so this year. We do have some space at present though, so you'd be welcome, Maroom2!! We've already ordered the champagne for Christmas morning.....:thumb:

Everyone assumes we want warm weather. Not neccessarily. We have been told to expect cold nights and bright days in general. That is perfect for us as we like to walk and cycle. The main thing for us was to be away rather than stuck at home in 3 feet of snow as we were last year.
Also we have only been abroad once with Alan and Lynda (Laneside) to France so for our first time on our own it is in our (almost) comfort zone.

Maybe next year Zahora, Marjal and the Chicken run, we will see. ::bigsmile:

Oh yes, Marjal in March, but it could well be Parc Verger on the way back in April.
