Autotrail Apache
Just swapped over from 15'' steel to 16'' alloy's and was going to do it myself but got the local tyre garage to do it for me (tenner cash - gawd bless em) but am wondering as forgot to ask them, where is the best place to jack up a Ducato Autotrail Apache (2007) and what's the best jack to have... Do pocess a 5ton trolley jack but is it better to have something similar or the normal jack that came with it or maybe a bottle jack or just leave it to the breakdown geezer?

Wasn't that hard a task when we had a campervan but this seems a whole new world...

I have a 2008 Fiat chassis.
With mine there are holes or sockets near each wheel.
At the rear , they are near the front end of the leaf spring mount and at the front intergrated into the chassis.
If you have the std Fiat scissor jack it has a spigot which fits in , gives you an idea of the size of hole.

I tried the scissor jack that came with mine on the drive. Would never attempt it by the side of the road as it just didn’t feel safe to me. So its now in the garage and I will call the breakdown guy if needs be!

As an aside I suppose you have checked that the alloy wheels are suitable weight wise? Steel wheels carry more load apparently.
