Hi yes. That is the what was the garage end of lorry. Atm she has 2 double beds and 1 single. Will try to take photos today,as we were going to start but the weather is not nice. The old chairs had to be put in there to get her from plated to a MOT. Strange but true.

Few, if any, 'good' self build forums are sub free.. they cost money to run.

try FB for free ones, good luck with that .. posts on there remind me of a roll of used toilet paper.. and about as useful

the subs on here will be recuperated over and over again..

Ha ha Thankyou guys. Been using her like she was for the motor cross season. Now that's done for the year. Ready to convert her. And can't wait. Yep windbreak and chairs all in store now ready for next year.the lorry will not cost us much as we have sourced all we need. Fb is rubbish. So when I get paid We will subscribe. Until then folks.

Check out availability of base vehicle parts before plowing a lot of money into conversion , eg some cant get replacement headlights !!

Would love to try a self build project but I'm not brave enough to suggest it to her indoors. Tried to suggest we bought an older mh and 'did it up' but even that brought on significant opposition.

Would be great to hear why you chose certain features and kit along the way

Beautiful day to be outside.
Hubby hard at it again this morning.
First photo is of some of the wood we removed no wonder she was top heavy. 2nd pic is inside looking at the new garage wall.

It's was my idea to save and buy big blue. The guy that owned her before us used her to transport his race car. But he went way over the top on using so much wood. And some really heavy wood!
She's has full sevice history. And is not bad on fuel. To be honest we don't care what she is she's great and fits all 4 of us in her really comfy. Plus 2 mx bikes and all the stuff that we need to camp over.
Next yr we plan to travel about even over to France.
My hubby had a heart attack back in May so now's the time for him to do what he wants. Honestly big blue is so much fun. And the comments we get when we turn up on site are awsome. She wasn't to expensive to buy but we did have to get her from a hgv to motorhome all we had to do was fix a table leg in her!!
We are looking for a cooker and a fridge so if anyone's from Dorset got one let is no.
