Motorhomed for almost 7 years - now going nowhere!
I am so excited. We have just taken delivery of a new Burstner Nexxo t720 and traded in our Autotrail Tracker.(where are the smilies when you want them? I want to post a whole row of them jumping up and down.)

We first saw it at Peterborough and have been justifying the expense ever since!

Only planning to venture into Suffolk this weekend - not too far as we need to get used to the extra length.

Enjoy! Be careful where you go in Suffolk...... "Here be dragons" (or was that Norfolk?;))

Whereabouts you going? We live there, as do a few others........(y)

Thank you for all the smilies - they are such fun.
We are thinking of using Britstops, going down the A140 rather than the A11 to find a future stopover for when we visit the family in Sussex. Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich maybe. Just staying Saturday night, travelling back Sunday.

Trying to think of somewhere nice near Ipswich...... Failed. Moon and sixpence is OK near Martlesham but family style. Also there is the C&CC. Site at Polstead round the corner from us. Not familiar with the Britstops, but other can comment.....

One thing we would mention, you have a 7.4 metre van on a 3500 kg chassis unless it is uprated (I looked at the MMM review) so well worth loading up and sticking on a weighbridge to be sure. Happy to be corrected on the max gross weight......(y)

Good suggestions Manix and DuxDeLux - the weighbridge (I have the list of local weighbridges, their opening hours and telephone numbers) and the Bury St Edmunds car park. Can you recommend good eating places in Bury.

Can't remember the names but there are some nice side streets fairly close to the Abbey on the town side. A few decent places to eat, but to be honest we have never eaten there in the evening. Enjoy Bury.

Be prepared for a shock with the weighbridge. Load up and full fuel - go for the worst case and then you know where you stand.

You can stop over night in Bury st Edmunds car park I think
Yes - can vouch for the Bury St Edmunds car park. Not exactly scenic, but a useful overnight stop if you just want an overnight parking place to break a journey, or if you want an evening in the town without driving restrictions.

There are five motorhome spaces, but there has never been anyone else in them on the two or three occasions I've stopped there. Mind you - I usually arrive around midnight & am gone by 8am.

We bought the Burstner from Becks Motorhomes - local to us. They had a stand at Peterborough. Good company to deal with. Go on their website and view their stock list.
I tried to find this model second hand but no joy so we had to dip into our savings ... again!!

Hello Anne. Just like you we wanted fixed single beds but couldn't wait until September for the automatic version and the 2015 model would have been so much more expensive.
The Tracker is on Becks website and it still looks very smart.
