Am green with envy, we really ought to sell our villa in Turkey before we buy a motorhome, theres only so much time in a year! But can't wait to get 4 wheels in place of 4 walls.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
Now planning the shake down tour next weekend.
Not getting to flamboyant yet.
Two nights at a site at Brynich in Brecon.
Near enough to nip back home when i find i've forgotten the corkscrew!

Jim's checklist ha been a great help, I'm filling in the waiting time by shopping for sunloungers, bedding, kitchen bits, beer and food etc.

Just realised I'll need hosepipes etc.

Great fun

Peter

hi Peter congratulations, why not buy bits as you need them we all have a cupboard full of bits we were sure we would need/use but never did. Not sure if you are an ex tugger but MHing tends to be a different, more mobile. Corkscrew? well if you use sites or have a co driver, wouldn't wish to be done for over the limit in charge of a vehicle would you. must have, decent leisure batteries and solar panels for every battery inc main engine battery even if minute trickle charge. you first trip will tell you what you need. hosepipe or can if you have limited water storage, always carry a couple of spare bottles of drinking water any way. I have plenty of poi's for laptop or satnav. should you need them. Have a great time with it, silly thing to say because you can't fail to.

Gone & done it

Hi Peter
Nice looking van, really racy colours hope you have many happy trips with it, just spent the weekend in north shropshire watching your ex narrow boaters wending their way through all the locks at grindley brooke. :thumb:
