Congratulations Peter she is a beauty :thumb:
now begins the long, boring, tedious jobs.
wondering where to go........
wondering how long to go for...........
wondering what goodies to buy for the van..........
wondering if you packed/loaded everything. (Jims checklist could be usefull)
booking into campsites.........
only kidding mate,
this week will drag but it will be worth the wait.:thumb::thumb:
Am green with envy, we really ought to sell our villa in Turkey before we buy a motorhome, theres only so much time in a year! But can't wait to get 4 wheels in place of 4 walls.
Thanks for all the good wishes.
Now planning the shake down tour next weekend.
Not getting to flamboyant yet.
Two nights at a site at Brynich in Brecon.
Near enough to nip back home when i find i've forgotten the corkscrew!
Jim's checklist ha been a great help, I'm filling in the waiting time by shopping for sunloungers, bedding, kitchen bits, beer and food etc.
Just realised I'll need hosepipes etc.
Nice one !
see...........its started already...
Hi peter looks really nice. You havent told anyone that it talks to you though have you
good luck mate and you know there will be loads of useful advice on here for ya, just laugh at things you do wrong and you will enjoy it loads. Look forward to meeting up with you at a few meets.
Watch the payload . Before you know it you won't have enough left to take the wife
Looks great, by the way.
(We've got a Dethleffs too)
hi Peter congratulations, why not buy bits as you need them we all have a cupboard full of bits we were sure we would need/use but never did. Not sure if you are an ex tugger but MHing tends to be a different, more mobile. Corkscrew? well if you use sites or have a co driver, wouldn't wish to be done for over the limit in charge of a vehicle would you. must have, decent leisure batteries and solar panels for every battery inc main engine battery even if minute trickle charge. you first trip will tell you what you need. hosepipe or can if you have limited water storage, always carry a couple of spare bottles of drinking water any way. I have plenty of poi's for laptop or satnav. should you need them. Have a great time with it, silly thing to say because you can't fail to.
We shouldn't miss you coming towards us.
Enjoy & have FUN Peter:thumb:
Gone & done it
Nice looking van, really racy colours hope you have many happy trips with it, just spent the weekend in north shropshire watching your ex narrow boaters wending their way through all the locks at grindley brooke. :thumb:
Well done to you, the camper looks great. We just had a weekend in a cl at Wenvoe near Cardiff and it was excellent. Enjoy. Tony
