Hello to all

Pick up our first motothome next week.......a 3ltr Auto Autotrail
Seemed to tick all the boxes as we have been looking at MHs for months now and have been in loads and driven a few.

Wanted an auto and there are not too many around compared with the manuals....................been a caravanner for some years and decided the only way to find out if we would enjoy motorhomes was to get one.

Still you are only young once ...and that was a long time ago

That should be an interesting exercise. You've traded space for convenience of moving on but lost ( probably ) a run-around when you get there.

You should be able to write and interesting comparison in a few months.

Pics will have to wait as I pick it up next week.

its a 2009 Cherokee ( I think ) Low mileage.........about 8500 miles on a fiat
its got the 3 litre auto ..which I just loved driving....and its like new.
a very large garage.......fixed tranverse double over the garage
and two small sofas facing each other which make another double ( so a double bed each !!!! )
and no bed over the cab just storage. Various bells and whistles most of which I have forgotten

perhaps someone will tell me what it is

This config is what we were looking for for some time.....based on our caravan experience it should suit our needs
