It's snowing again, and I only just cleared the path! At least the Kelpies are still visible..for now.
Hello from Falkirk (halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow), from a seasoned outdoorsman but a complete newb when it comes to campers and vans, apart from two weeks in an hired VDub original years ago around Cornwall. Been sent here on recommendation from another motorhome site, more of a DIY one
Looking to self-convert and start the hunt for a van, probably within the month and possibly towards the Renault Master/Movano end of the Renault-Sevels spread, newer rather than older. Apart from the gearbox problem they look as though they might just tip the balance on reliability, or not depending on experience?
Meanwhile there's oodles of planning, worrying, and then more worrying, and probably lots of questions.
Anyway hello all and hope you're enjoying the white stuff
Andy
