But what if someone steals your water at night? Why not leave it unlocked ?
Do you have access to your fresh water tank in your van - you might be able to fill up through the lid of the tank.Came away for a week without my key for fresh water tank. Depending on bottled water for everything. Whats the gizmo to the right of the water fill in this image? Anything to do with water? Thanks.
Surely it’s the same key as the hab door anc lockers ?He's not got the key
Mine isn't. But I don't have lockers.Surely it’s the same key as the hab door anc lockers ?
Why not ?Mine isn't. But I don't have lockers.
Because I have a PVC and the water socket is a different lock to my vehicle locks. Why not ?
How about the petrol cap ?Because I have a PVC and the water socket is a different lock to my vehicle locks.
Only accessible when the passenger door is open. No lock on the cap.How about the petrol cap ?
I suspect its external in which case you often can't access them at all.Do you have access to your fresh water tank in your van - you might be able to fill up through the lid of the tank.
My tank has an external filler point and an internal cap. The tank is under the passenger seats.I suspect its external in which case you often can't access them at all.
Won't work as the fill tube has jubillee clips on it.Take the 3 screws out holding the fitting to the side of van top up tank?
They have an external filler but the tank itself is likely to be external and it is often the case that you cannot access this tank from the interior at all - we had a Swift in the past and the only way to get at the fresh water tank was to drop it down from the underside brackets. My tank has an external filler point and an internal cap. The tank is under the passenger seats.
I doubt it due to the kinks but a very good suggestion and certainly worth a try!Can you hold a hose to the drain valve and reverse fill it?
Our tank is similar to this.... We would just unscrew the red cap and fill up using a hose. View attachment 512283
I know but I managed it on ours and it shifted eventually. Just throwing ideas around in case it helps.Have you ever tried undoing one of these when it’s not been touched for a few years.
Difficult isn’t the word for it
