LOL

Only ever found 3 vans similar to ours but not one of the identical model so we look forward to finding one

Only seen two of our make of our van in the wild. One was on the way to the Dumfries rally last year and he pulled past us flashing his lights and then pulled into the next lay-by. We pulled in behind him - and we were the only other SunLiving he had ever seen in the wild !!!!!

Our first camper was a Leisuredrive hightop on a Transit. We came nose to nose with exactly the same on Applecross.

Our third motorhome was a Spanish registered Moncayo Halcon 421 and we pitched next to exactly the same (and also Spanish registered) on a site at Moffat.

Flew to Faro last year and on on the way to the apartment our grandson spotted our exact van on the side of the road , it's early 90's as you can see and lhd. He thought we had driven it down somehow !

Told this one before, but we swept into a full Aire on the Ebro. Peeps ran out of their van's to remove a trailer and 'stuff' to make room. Very civil, thought us.

The assembled masses started laughing as we came to a halt as they realised we WEREN'T their mates who had just 'Nipped out' to get some groceries.

Not many Hobby's to the pound.

when we had our Trident we had never seen another one. Parked up in a little village one day (Brecon Beacons area i think but not sure) and when we came back to our van there was another one parked at the side of us.

When I was buying our N&B Arto I and the seller went into the centre of Eastbourne for me to draw the cash to pay, and we parked directly opposite a N&B, albeit a FLair, and that was before I had taken possession.

2-3 years ago we pulled onto an Aire in the Pyrenees and instantly recognised another Arto because he has 'Gretchibald' written on the front which is his avatar on another forum. Quite a coincidence as we live in Poland and they in N. Ireland. Theirs is only 3-4 months younger than ours, so a useful contact for comparing notes. Since met them again, by arrangement.

With 16y experience of the same van, we only met one other Rapido 925M: St Neots CCC site.

A guy was busy using VIM to clean the flies etc off the fibreglass bonnet :(.

Turned out that he was Australian and had done a MH swop :LOL::LOL:

He wanted to get it into prime condition for the returning owners

On our first 'proper' trip with our Carthago we pitched on a very basic and wild aire, just a bit of scruffy waste land really, at the tip of the Cherbourg peninsular.
Having hardly seen another since we collected ours, two more Carthago's pitched beside us, one Swedish and one French.

We had the same with our old Auto-Trail. Well sort of, same model just a gap of about 25 years between them leaving the factory
