Hello all,
It's been several years since we sold our Burstner 748!! TBH, I found the 748 to be just a bit to big and the fact that the handbrake was absolutely useless (something common to the Burstner I was told) I didn't enjoy driving such a heavy vehicle as, when faced with a junction on anything more than a flat ground, I had to hold the vehicle on the clutch and pray I didn't stall - a very uncomfortable experience.
Having said that, I just loved pottering in the Burstner and miss that aspect of ownership.
I've been looking around at 2nd hand motorhomes and find the values to be crazy! I know it's neither the best time of the year nor the Covid climate both impacting on values.
I've seen a few, quite old motorhomes for sale e.g. this one on Ebay:
<Broken link removed>
but I'm obviously totally 'out of touch' with the marketplace and don't really know the pro's & con's to consider when buying old vehicles. So, I'm seeking guidance on what to look out for and what to avoid etc.
Any comments appreciated
Regards
John
