I’m in Italy at the moment, gone through the lakes over to Venice, Florence and now in Lucca. It is a great time to visit this wonderful country. Everyone is being safe, sensible and careful but equally getting on with their lives. I wish the U.K. would take note

In theory you have to complete their entry form which you download. We were not asked for ours.
Not in theory, you DO have to download, print and complete their declaration of health (4 pages each).
However I have spoken to several people who went through Italy and so far nobody has been asked for it. But it would be Sod’s law that if you don’t you’ll need to show it.
We went through the Mont Blanc tunnel at the end of August.

Pedantic or what!!! You have just repeated what I wrote. No one asks for them so hence theory. Same with the Sicillian app, a requirement to download and register but no one asked or checked ours.

Yes we have been in Italy for 3 weeks now. We didn't know about the declaration of health. No one asked us at border or anywhere else. It seems safe here. On lake Iseo at the moment , absolutely stunning , weather couldn't be better. Seems safe. Covid rates below the uk and not rising as fast as other places. Most people wearing masks in public places. Campsite have strict rules regarding distances in toilets. Temperature taken on arrival.

We are also in Italy at the moment - Camping Cavallino nr Venice. Came into Italy from via Germany and Austria and no one has asked or mentioned 'declaration of health'. Sites and areas seem to vary in mask and distancing strictness. In Germany we had to fill in forms with personal details at every bar and restaurant. In Italy masks are required in all public areas, but campsites seem much more relaxed.
Parrot Face, what campsite are you at on Lake Iseo, we are thinking of heading that way. All the Campsites in the Jesello/Cavallino area are chocker - mainly Germans in particular young families.

We left camping Quai on Iseo yesterday. Great site but avoid pitches furthest away from reception as you not only get the trains but also traffic noise. We mainly use ACSI sites but there where other sites along the same road. There is also another ACS:I site nearer to the town with a swimming pool that looked good but they only allow dogs under 8 Kg. Ours is heavier. That would be the better option as its also one of the few that dont have the train alongside it. Trains weren't too much of a problem on Quia.. Iseo is lovely see blog for pictures http://lightningtours.blogspot.com/

We are going to try Camping del Sole on Lake Iseo tomorrow which sounds like it might be a quieter site after reading Parrot Faces post above. We are at Jeselo at the moment - Camping Cavallino and its chocker (mainly young German families) and cant help feeling Como & Garda will be the same.
We were at Camping Al Pescatore on Lago Caldonazzo (nr Trento) last week and it was lovely and relatively quiet, especially weekdays. Great restaurants lakeside and just about the nicest reception staff I have ever encountered (pic attached)

Did you get to Camping Del Sole on Iseo. Out of interest and for future reference was it any good.
