Italy - UK Gas adaptor in Italy

Any Ideas if there is a retail chain in Italy I can try get a UK gas adaptor? Rookie mistake...........

Filling stations should have one you can borrow but don’t be surprised if you’re turned away as many stations will only allow filling of cars who run on autogas

The majors tend not too allow filling so go to the independents especially in the south we had no problems and usually have adapters .

I’ve heard this before and wondered how they would know that it’s not vehicle fuel?

In Italy I always get the gas first then if needed diesel afterwards.

Couple of years ago, whilst in Germany, I realised I had left the German adaptor behind. Went on to Amazon,DE ordered one and had it delivered click and collect at the local post office. Stayed on the stelplatz for two nights, then picked it up...........Bob's your uncle etc.

I had a water pump fail in France. Amazon delivered in two days.

I did have a look on Amazon, looks like a week for delivery but it may be an option. Just means I have to stand still for a while or predict where ill be.
