So was ours, don't delete the e-mail Lucille, you will need to print off the attachment and produce it at Camping Butterfly.
There was no attachment on the email to us just said they would send it as soon as possible. That was 3 weeks ago.
So I have emailed them tonight asking them to send my booking confirmation by return as they have had my deposit since 10/12/09.
Don't hold out much hopes until after New Year, though.
Dam!! Thought it was all sorted!

Not personally; but I am vaguely aware of his reputation. Looks a bt of a shady type, so I'll keep an eye out for him. Has Interplod been brought into the loop? :roflmto::winky::ROFLMAO:

Russell "probably dropping in"

JayDee has booked the ferry

That leaves 8 still undecided from the original interested funsters. Still 5 months for them to make their minds up although they may end up in another campsite.

Maggiore is totally delightful but we've done it four or five times now.

We stayed on the site at Baveno.
We arrived on a Saturday morning and the place was heaving. At the office they said, 'We have one place to offer you'. Someone had just moved off, and the place offered was te best spot on the site - right at the tip of the peninsula, overlooking the lake; such a good spot that we stayed a week.
The 'Rover' ticket on the boats on Maggiore allowed us to visit all the islands.
A lovely location.

I can understand that. We finally had to admit to doing it to death and needing a rest. We always stayed in Cannero.

Now we've sort of "moved on" to Garda to some new discoveries. Third and longest visit next week. Very similar of course but more of it and more towns to explore. The hydrofoils were still running on Garda in 08 but last time we visited Maggiore we didn't see one. They are a fantastic statement of Italian passion for speed.

Just one person in all the Italian postings said they visited Italy and did not like it, a very strange or unfortunate person, I felt sorry for them. All the rest, the overwhelming message is "can't get back quickly enough".
