Just got home from our few night`s in the New Forest....

Fabulous/Superb/Brilliant trip.....
Best we have had in months, and managed full term, no coming home early..

Few photo`s of our trip...

Camp Site, which is gorgeous.... Clean, manicured grass, Big hard Standings... immaculate showers etc..

Had some cracking days out in the car... Daisy had her swim, although the water was not very high, due to lack of rain...

Had a nice Crab/Prawn salad sat looking out towards the Needles...

I wanted to stay on for a few more days, but short on medication..

All in all.... a superb break and the sun was blazing and hot.... ....

The only down side is having to hump me gas bottle around... bit embarrassing..

We liked Long Meadow. Went into Lymington for a day which was worth a visit. SWMBO was brought up in the Forest so knows the area well

We have just come back from a few days in the New Forest. We stayed at Setthorns, no manicured grass and no toilets. Right in the forest though we took the toad, but have now sold it as the weighty hitch was doing my back in.
We only take the toad in the UK, and that is normally only the New forest 100miles away so swmbo can drive a car there if she thinks we need one.
We once took the toad to the continent but found it more of an irritation than a help so it spent most of its time on an obliging campsite in the South of France while we went on without it.

Go and see doc and ask for extra meds .my mother alway got about 3 months worth extra so they did not have to come home but you need an understanding doc.
