Morning Bev(y) Not even starting the build before Goth :( Well I may have some insulation in or at least a bit of carpet and a rock and roll bed that's going into the Vito -or at least that's what I am planning :)
7.30 eh Ralph beat me by an hour or so -just been into the bus to get all the crap vacuum up from under the seats etc so that Julie can put the bed/seats/upholstery in and it's clean -NOW WE WILL HAVE TO COVER EVERYTHING UP before we make a mess drilling anything :D
While out there I WENT INTO THE RELAY and took some measurements --took me 20 mins to find the keys only to find the back doors have been open since it came :D-Got to sort these locks out soon ,I cannot get in the van as side and front doors lock when shut and the back doors only lock with the key :DPhoned mate up who got me the van and it was a parcel delivery van that blew its engine at 30k (had to give lease people/delivery co a new van to replace this) then had a new engine fitted and used as a spare/loan van, hence the low miles --The locks are slam locks so that the delivery man cannot forget to lock the van while delivering parcels -god help them if they leave keys in -;)Will get more info when I see him over the next few days -Apparently cost over 1k to have them fitted
Martin size of internal of van is
=usable sizes boarding to ribs (y)
11 ft 10 ins long = 3.6 mtrs
6 ft 2 ins wide and high =1.9 mtrs
you may be able to scrape a extra 2 ins in length depending on layout/front seats giving 12 ft usable space -
terry
EDIT yes Bev it is my intention to keep it (y) or at least that's the plan :)

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
I like the colour coded front bumper , did you take it off to have it sprayed ?
Also if you don't mind what was the cost?
