It certainly pays to shop around our local Benimar dealer wanted £59 for this part as you can see £3.50 from another non Benimar dealer  . I know it may not be a genuine part but £55.50 difference but come on lol

You can put any inflated price you want on an item if you add MOTORHOME to the description.
If Obanvanman could buy for 68 quid you can be assured Euramobile paid less.

Many moons ago the MCN ran the headline.

^Japanese nylon more expensive than platinum^

A jeweller in Hatton Cross bought some new washers for his fireblade and could not believe how much they cost. Having access to sensitive scales he weighed them and found that as a comparison ounce for ounce the nylon cost more than platinum.

When I was a builder's mate and was working with plumbers they often made up a washer by twisting some scrim into a circle and using plumbers paste to waterproof it. Better than wasting time going to the builder's merchants.

On my boat I used to carry various grades of gasket material and, using the old gasket as a template, just cut one. I think I never bought one for my water pump for 20 years. I did buy a proper head gasket though.
