Don't disagree but having experienced German motor industry quality in late 1960s early 70s nobody should take anything for granted. As a long time fan/owner of Jags and as a teenager knowing Jaguar founder William Lyons I was mortified by Jaguars sale to Tata but they are better now than ever.

Basically because Tata has commendably kept a firm "hands off" policy. Jaaags are superb cars - I've got an XF Sportbrake

Its a bit like the tale of the Royal Enfield, they were still making the pre sprinter van / min bus long after Mercedes stopped and you can see them in many asian countries, they must have got all the tooling cheap and still using it
They also made the very old style Mercedes trucks which are still widely seen in the mid east.

That particular model doesn't appear to have a kitchen, just a fridge and a "Cafe"(???).

Yes, but that is down to Jags being assembled in the UK using Ford car parts. Not cobbled together in India out of obsolete van parts. I dread to think what the emissions would be on that old Merc' motor

I'm guessing the owner needs to bring along two servants, at least. Or four if you want dancing girls (optional).

On and off for many years.
It's designed very much for it's market. I like some of the interior ideas but agree that the outside is, shall we say, unusual.

So £62K for a PVC and the shower and kitchen are optionals?

How many campsites are there in India with EHU(working)?

The 'dining tables' are at knee level - maybe OK for Indian style eating.

If they think it is for european market, then back to the drawing board chaps.

I spent the last 5 years of my working life commuting between Derby and Philadelphia. When I saw the aircraft Business class styling, it made me shudder. I thought I was over it until I looked inside this wingless Boeing. :(

they must have bought all the tooling and rights to the old Mercs just like they did with Royal Enfield, when I was in India last year there were loads of new ones about based on the old model chassis

Looks like its bulletproof, why is it so heavy with a small engine ? and the back wheels do not look right.

Not sure about the extended wheel trims - or the rather mean awning.
......and the fact that the awning has been mounted so that it totally misses the door opening, which would render it pretty useless in climates similar where I use mine to keep the rain off.

Such as Cumbria, where I spend a lot of time

Standard fit in all indian bogs.

There are plenty of "a la turque" facilities here in SW France.
