After much discussion and sleepless nights, we’ve sold our van! A combination of COVID, a house move and the sudden death of my father in law to COVID has finished it for us.

I’ve got lots of items to dispose of. I’ll put them on the classifieds forum on here in case anyone can benefit. Also have a really cracking Peugeot 107 tow car with new a frame to sell.

It’s fair to say that this forum has been absolutely invaluable to us and we’ll keep up our subs just in case! Thank you all.

David has 6 years experience as a full-timer in Australia (2002-2008). RV: "Winnebago Longreach".
We wish you both the very best and hope that at some time in the future you will get another motorhome. Stay safe, from Margaret and David

We're all sad to hear that Christoph but if it's any consolation then I reckon quite a few others are thinking of doing the same with so much uncertainty about these days - you're certainly not alone sir.

Good luck and stay around on the forum.

All the best,

Andrew

Well it’s gone - there’s a feeling of sadness and relief in equal measure. No more worrying about it getting nicked, water ingress, draining down, narrow lanes ect ect. But: great sadness as it left. Many many happy memories we wouldn’t have without owning it. The bank looks much healthier though!
