Excellent read saved me the cost of satellite system now I've had streaming explained in terms i understand, looking to get something fitted in the new year.

Yes, as streaming gets better there are not too many people are having sat dishes installed. I have one on my current van but I doubt I'll ever fit another.

Thank you, Jim. We are thoroughly enjoying this month's magazine. I used to compile a monthly newsletter back in the 1990s, so I know how much hard work is involved. Well done!

Nice job, personally I preferred the first one but maybe because that covered more for the newbies. Still good though!

Any chance you could leave a review on the App Store. Reviews really help the magazine's chance of being returned in the store's search results.

If you could, I'd really appreciate it. It’s easy to leave a review Apple Store. | Android Store

Thanks in anticipation (y)

Don’t burn your bridges too soon. The first opportunity to try streaming with my amazon fire thing is in Bath Marina campsite. 1. Not sufficient mobile signal on our pitch anyhow. 2. The free campsite for streaming Wi-fi would not be fair on others. 3.aerial not picking a thing up which left me with our sat dish which worked a treat. A straw pole of one so far but just saying...,,

I suspect the number of sites where you can't get a good mobile signal are a lot less than those you can't use satellite because of trees.

But to stream more reliably I think you need a good external antenna for your mifi or router.

Actually I do not entirely agree but the real point I was making was keep your options open rather than the suggestion of dissing the sat dish altogether. Possibly another 5 years and the landscape might change.

We've got both and in the UK use the sat dish because the 50Gb monthly data allowance I have wouldn't last very long. If we had one of the new unlimited data packages it might be different of course. But most of our MH'ing is done outside the UK where unlimited data doesn't seem to be available from UK sourced sim cards. So if we want to watch the box, which admittedly isn't often these days, we'll use the sat dish if we are in range of UK broadcasts or stream/download any specific program to my tablet. :)

Review left and good read Jim, look forward to next months.
