Just a tad..
I am currently sited in SE Spain. I have had the battery charger off for 12 days to test the solar setup properly.

  • The stats are four cloudy or mainly cloudy days, the rest sunny ☀️
  • 408A of Lithium batteries (KS)
  • 400W (2x200W) of solar panels (Craig Solar)
  • Victron MPPT 30A solar controller
  • Flat mounted panels
  • A smidge over 14 KWH’s generated
  • Assuming 13v nominal, that’s 1076A generated or an average of just under 90A per day
  • Highest wattage seen 311W
  • Highest daily yield 1.45 KWH
  • The sun is obviously a better angle in Spain than the UK but it’s still winter!
I am both amazed and delighted with this.

And so am I in south east Spain Tarragona as it happens,
and so do I have the KS energy 2x200ah bms and getting 3-5 amp at 9 am

am on a car park here and just added a panel yesterday,)CBA at home too cold)
am heading off more south to get even more power

question, Carpmart do you get many problems with the bms between 2 batteries, mine seems to drop out /freeze a lot, but could be my phone

Each of the batteries packs has its own BMS, I guess that’s the same for you. I look at each in the same app to get a view of amps in or out and voltage of each of the four cells in each pack. They balance well and evenly across each cell in each pack. They are clearly not perfectly matched for IR across each pack and indeed across all eight cells in the two batteries, as the balancing of the cells can take some time after being off hook up for a while.

No freezing or drop out. Is it worth deleting and reinstalling the app and pairing up the Bluetooth again? May solve your issues? 🤷‍♂️
