Well . . . . . . . . . . . . the rain will be warmer than up North!

Feel free to pm me as, after 26 years, I will probably be able to help.

Re IOW

I lived there for about 15 years, winter its like a ghost town, its is a holiday isle and winter there all gone, Might be a tad warmer than the north of the UK not much snow but still gets cold.

Why not catch the other ferry from Portsmouth it sails right past and stops in either France :ROFLMAO: or Spain :thumb: much better!

But thats just my view!

Hi, I live on the island, I have camped at xmas several times (only a few have hard standings and are open) Actually this xmas we decided to camp in the new forest as there's more places for us to visit, as done everything on the island so many times, every which way possible. Having said that if theres anything peticular you want to know just PM me . Don't know what size your m/h is but if close to 6mtr ( get tkt on line they don't always check )use wightlink dream ticket (currently £30 return ) or ensure the campsite you use does inclusive ferry cost otherwise it can be damned expensive!!!
dream ticket is after 10pm and before 5am I think. Terry:Cool:
