Is this too expensive? For its age

Ive been sent this to look at but not knowing anything about motors i wondered if its a bit pricey i thought it was wirth about £15,000

It's suffering the usual age issues.
Presumably the 'Major defects' have been fixed now as it has an MOT but rust and corrosion are constant potential problems with vehicles of that age.

Far too expensive for what it is...
I have just sold my LDV, 1998 reg, 60,000 miles for just over 4 grand.....

To it's credit, it has been washed, and silicon blacking agent applied to the plastics (wears off after 2 weeks or less).

The small ones generate interest cos easier to drive, and less expensive overall. So easier for dealers to shift.

But If I saw this VW at BCA MH auctions in Nottingham, I would expect it to get 4-5K. ( If it was not a camper, then perhaps £300 )

It's age is against it - All steel vehicles eventually fall victim to rust.
