Looking past that scare, what about the pushbike with 5 accessory bags (1 could be a drinks bottle)

Nowt wrong with it.

Each socket is protected by an over-current breaker, probably 6A, maybe 10A. As long as each wire pluged into the socket or multi socket can carry more than that current then there is no danger.

Start to draw more than the breaker amount from a socket or multi socket then the trip goes as it should.

Not a problem.

I wonder why the bollard keeps tripping out?

Looks alright to me.... Saves on posts.
Middle one looks iffy, 3 plugs into one splitter, one off all off and nobody will know who overloaded it. .

True, but that's a civil dispute, not a safety matter.

The site clearly doesn’t have enough points for the amount of pitches sold with electric, a few also look very tight so probably not close enough to the relevant pitches.

I saw a similar EHU Christmas tree on the aire at Cherbourg prom. The sign said only for short term use for battery charging but of course no-one (all French vans) took any notice and were hooked up all day. New arrivals just added another splitter, then another............presumably until it tripped.

Looks good compared to a lot of French ones. Had one in France where the cable just dangled from a tree. One in Belgium where you opened a steel box and fed your cable up from the bottom past a live buss bar.

I'll add rubber gloves to the list I'm making of essential equipment...

We had one in France that only worked when the carpark street light switched on-- It was free though

That looks ok.
I stayed at a 'site' at the top of the hill at Weymouth many years ago.
A tiered field, £10 a night with a breeze block type shower block with ' luxurious' Tarpaulin curtains.
Someone had an unofficial 240V electric hook up by joining several hook up leads together then crossing the vehicle track in the campsite and going in to the shower block to 'borrow' some electric.

We would hook up to this one quite often. It was surprisingly reliable and would only trip every couple of hours. When it did, a thin and pliable boning knife could be inserted through a gap at the bottom of the cabinet door to reset your switch. Siân got quite good at doing that, I was always too busy :D

...and wellies.

I'm beginning to think there must be a number of rubber fetishists who own motorhomes.
