Got an email newsletter from those helpful chaps at RoadPro this morning and was very impressed by this battery technology.

Extremely expensive at the moment but like most new things the price could come down if the numbers sold increase.
At a reasonable price it could put an end to many of the battery woes we frequently hear about on the forums.

Yes they've been mentioned here before. Essentially with wet cell batteries we are using Victorian technology but big breakthroughs in battery technology are coming. Meanwhile, you can buy a lot of wet cells for £2300. :)

They look good and Im sure the price will come down I replaced my batteries last year 3 x 125s £270 and the batteries that I replaced lasted 4 years

Question,

If it supposedly can be discharged at a constant 100 amps and be charged at 75 amps, why has the manufacturer chosen to fit it with 50 amp rated Anderson connectors?

I'm not bashing the technology, just the execution.
