Yes there are other alternative venues , however you can easily avoid the £75 surcharge/ booking fee by using the club to make your ferry or eurotunnel reservations as well as the rally site

Eurotunnel Frequent Traveller. Can't have it both ways! If I use the Ferry, I get a discount too. You have to ask the Club to match it, they go away and ask their supervisor, It's not worth it. The only benefit in the past of using the Club is that they don't charge you extra to change the booking like others do. At least they didn't a few years ago. That has probably changed now. Bless them

And I got my van insurance for half the cost elsewhere, after more than 10 years with C&CC watching it go up year on year. Oh, I did say beef over! Well that's a fresh one!

I used to think the friendly club then I found motorhome fun wow what a difference .But sill use ccc. for holidays meets etc. But beginning to rethink with fees etc keep going up
