Approaching my 70 birthday and wanting to retain my C1 category, and aware of the dire warnings about how long it takes, I arranged my D4 medical 3 months prior to the renewal date.
The completed application went in the letter box on the 14th Sept with just a first class stamp, and my new license dropped on the mat today - 12 days from posting!!
Well pleased with the service and all set for another 3 years ::bigsmile:

Completely stress free!!
It's come though so quickly the renewal date on my license is now 22nd Sept rather than my actual birthday, so I've lost 2 months.
For anyone looking for a D4 medical I'd recommend Andy Brereton at The Worthing Clinic but be warned, his consulting room is up 5 flights of stairs!!
