Adding a socket just for the Inverter. Surprised at the quality of the socket. Made a wooden block to hold the socket then realised when I drilled two small holes in the wall how little "meat" there was there. This socket will get pulled on when taking out the plug so want it to stay in place. Did a bit of reading and Sucra comes up quite a bit. Have shown reverse of block, Is there enough wood ther to have Sucra hold or would a high end double sided tape be better?

I used Sugru to hold the retaining bolts on the rear light on my Hymer. Been on securely for about 4 years so I think that it would prove successful for your situation. The other thing to consider is Milliput which sets rock hard and can be drilled, tapped, screwed into etc.

Use double-sided tape between the panel and your mounting block. Use the correct variety & it won't move whether you screw in on or not.

Thanks Guys. Ordered the Sucra and then used the best double sided tape I could get locally and it is solid. The Sucra will come in handy for some other project. Now the toaster oven can be plugged in....when it arrives from Korea!!!
