I'm as friendly as they come and will wave at any Motor Homer I see but it seems we are not allowed to mix classes, I wave at PVC, platform Cab based (like me) and A class but never to get a wave off a PVC and rarely off an A class, I have my Funsters stickers front and back hoping to catch fellow funsters, it's strange because we all seem to muck in on here with tips etc. asking for a friend :)

I don't think I've ever been waved at by a motorhome/coachbuild van. Most PVCs don't seem to wave at us small VeeDubs either. I don't tend to wave at them either, as a result. I DO wave at VeeDubs, but even then not all the time. Sometimes I don't register I've seen one until too late, or I'm concentrating on a junction etc. And I sometimes don't know if an approaching Crafter is a camper conversion or a works van.
On the other hand I've accidentally waved at delivery trucks, and even an ambulance. Oops. :blusher:

In our last A class we always waved, but may not always have been seen as sitting a long way back from the windscreen. In our present low profile SWMBO still waves at recognisable motorhomes, however a lot of PVCs are not easily recognised.

Get plenty of waves when in the LR S11A because it's an appreciated historic vehicle. Every second vehicle appears to be a Motorhome of some sort so waving would get a bit tiresome I would assume!

I wave at everyone - including buses, horse boxes and delivery vans.

I don’t bother waving but I usually do a sort of wave by sticking one finger up if I see anything larger than my 6m pvc.

We have just driven home from Wales
only 118 miles but I decided to wave at every van

We got returning waves from every Coachbuilt bar 1 - - -out of 8 A class only 2 didn't wave
AND
Zero PVC returned the wave didn't see any T5's etc unfortunately

When we had our coachbuilt, we waved at other MHs and PVCs, and got plenty in return. Now that we are whoosh-bangers, nobody waves at us.

I have noticed that since changing to a pvc we are never waved at unless I wave first and from a clear view distance away.

Of course, the fact that my dark blue pvc resembles a Group4 van in the UK or a Gendamerie vehicle doesn’t help!

I always acknowledge on coming motorhomes in an understated, aristocratic manner, by raising my right hand off the steering wheel, palm outwards.

I don't mind if I don't receive an acknowledgement back.

It just means I am less grumpy than them.
