Try and get hold of a copy of: The Seven Year Hitch by David R Grant. ISBN 0-684-85802-9.

Not quite what you're planning but has lots of positive words about travelling with, and educating children while on the road, apart from which, it's a lovely story and one that many readers will end up saying........"What a journey, I wonder if we could give it a go".

This family have some great information about full-timing with children and, in particular, 'home-schooling' on the road: http://www.lifeinourvan.com/

I was a teacher for 20 plus years and I'm a big fan of home schooling.
Depending on the ages of your children, keep up their reading, language and maths levels and learn the rest from your travelling experiences.
I full timed for almost 2 years ( no kids though, just me and animals) It was relaxing, liberating, wonderful. Loved it.
Have a contingency plan in case of breakdown / accident repair necessity and a good first aid kit and you'll all have a great time.

Leave the kids with the Grandparents and go enjoy yourself :oops2::rofl:

Otherwise I can't help :D

We met two families who were doing it and having a fab time.
I home educated my 4 and am well in favour.
If it was me I'd probably look for other kids to play with at campsites and play parks

Thank you so much all of u ....its what I needed to hear !

I added a section in the directory the other day for Travel Blogs. The first and only site added so far is , those guys are having fun. Check their site out (y)

Museums would be a great place too but many countries aren't quite so museum child oriented as ours but worth checking out everywhere you go.
