I had a Brunner Raptor. The critical joints were steel and the plastic bits were seriously thick moulding. Felt really sturdy. Only downside was it didn't have a beer holder.

We just buy cheap folders that go into a cylindrical bag, £20 odd quid, last 5 years and bin them. Quite comfortable and fit in the external locker.
We probably use the loungers more though 👌

IMO the best chair you can buy, for being wide, stable and extremely light as well as incredibly well built is the Dukdalf Dynamic

We have these with the leg rests, they are perfect and the build quality is streets ahead of others in a similar price bracket, ie Isabella

They look good, will have look at Stratford as desperate for a couple of new chairs

Bought a couple of black Outwell Kenai chairs a few years ago and they’re excellent. Always the first chairs to get taken if you’ve got friends around and you’re not quick. :giggle:

Got a pair of Lafuma folding chairs. 12 years old, very light and very strong. Excellent bit of kit

Outwell do same as Jim's suggestion. We have had our Outwells minimum 10 year only scratched because they arnt bagged. Strong light and reasonable

We have had our Isabella’s for 7 years and are used a lot… we love them.

Another vote for Isabella's. Current ones have survived 9 years of abuse and are still comfortable.

Perhaps that’s why not everybody drives a Dacia Sandero

£80 for an insulated lunch box thats a site for those with more money than sense

I agree I have had Isabellas in the past, They were great, but got stolen in France. Tried loads of others over the years. But on the strength of that experience I bit thebullet and bought some new ones two years ago. They are not what they were. They won't stay folded when you carry them, stitching gave way and needed a repair. I gave mine away.

We have similar to these Here can’t remember when we bought them but more than 10 years ago use them at motorsport events and have fitted adjustable feet and golf umbrella stands.

I'm not a 'lounging around' sort of chap and rarely sit down for more than twenty minutes or max half an hour at a time so every couple of years I buy mine from the supermarket for £29.99 a pair which are comfy enough.
The flimsy nylon storage bags don't last long so I make my own.

To coin a couple of catchphrases from the golden age of British comedy. Ooooer Missus and Ooooh you are awful....but I like you

We have a number of Yeti products and they are excellent and likely to out live us both. I was desperate to buy the chair but my wife was having none of it. Since then we have purchased a couple of Crespo chairs that fold flat down to less than 10cm. These are also really well made and unbelievably comfortable.
