Hi everyone. Hoping to go to Ireland in June. Does anyone have any sites/ tours they have used and are happy to share?
Hi Sue, on our last visit we didn't stay on sites as such, but did use official Motorhome stopovers, mainly found from being members of Total Motorhome Ireland.

They also have a Facebook page. You have to have been an active member for a few weeks, but membership is worth doing, as their maps show points of interest such as stopovers, pubs, and Autogas, etc, complete with contact phone numbers and coordinates. The maps also cover the North. (y)

Good luck,

Jock. :)

I went to Ireland last September. Wild Atlantic Way is stunning, you don't need a guide as it's so well signposted. I travelled north to south and hoped to get as far as Galway but only made it to Westport. There's just so much to see, so I'll be back to see more hopefully.
Total Motorhome Ireland on facebook is very useful for wild camping places.
Don't plan too see it all, Ireland is a suprisingly large country and the friendly folk keep you talking for hours, LOL
