As you may know, Calor Gas UK has different connectors to Calor Gas IE making an exchange not possible.
However, over there on a recent visit (and in danger of running out of gas!) I made a few phone calls.
Apparently the Calor.ie filling station at Whitegate, County Cork (by Middleton) has the adapters enabling them to be able to refill UK Calor bottles.
The Calor.ie filling station telephone number is: +353 (0)21 466 1269
Open: 9am to 1pm Mon to Fri.
Cost (not cheap!): 13kg bottle refill = 38 Euro
PS Luckily we didn't run out so didn't need their services.....but handy to know it can be done.
